(In order to keep our production conscious and sustainable, we work with product drops/pre-ordering to know how much to produce).
Handmade in Mexico from raw clay, this Copalera is steeped in ancestral wisdom. The figures of four women carved into its surface represent the moon cycle, honoring transformation, femininity, and connection to the Earth. Used for centuries in ceremonies, this vessel allows you to burn sahumerio (herbal incense), resins, sacred herbs, releasing fragrant smoke to cleanse spaces, clear energy, and deepen rituals. Whether placed on an altar or held in ceremony, this piece is a powerful tool for those seeking presence and spiritual grounding.
HOW TO USE:
Simply light a vegetable charcoal (included) and let it burn for a few seconds and then blow out the flame. Once the charcoal is ignited, place it on top of the center of the Copalera, sprinkle the Herbal Sahumerio (included) on top, and allow the smoke to fill the space around you. Those participating in this ritual should set an intention and focus on the breath, allowing the herbs and copal to guide you on your spiritual journey.
THE KIT INCLUDES:
-Copalera 4 Moons: a traditional indigenous ceremonial tool used by ancient Mesoamerican cultures to burn copal (the resin from an eponymous tree) and a mix of sacred herbs to elevate your spiritual experience. This copalera has been handmade by our team of artisans in Mexico using local mud and baked for preservation. It’s in the shape of four women sitting in a circle in contemplation. The four women signify the entire moon cycle, and the collective healing power of women. Due to its artisanal nature, each shape is unique.
-Sacred Sahumerio: your kit comes with a glass tube with a mix of powerful medicinal herbs, roots and bark. This sacred blend is harvested from our own organic and regenerative garden and/or supplied from local herbalists with whom we share preservation standards. This mix has been used for centuries in spiritual practices to promote cleansing, healing, purification, and balance.
-Bamboo Charcoal: each Copalera comes with 3 charcoal tabs made of bamboo, which is more sustainable and odorless when burning.
Legal Disclaimer:
Always burn sahumerio and incense in a well-ventilated area, on a heat-resistant surface, and away from flammable materials. Never leave burning incense, charcoal, or embers unattended. Use with caution and at your own risk. By purchasing this product, you acknowledge that Casa Earth is not responsible for any damage, injury, or fire resulting from its use or misuse.
